Why Singing?
Singing is for everyone! Singing is good for both physical and mental health - it may help lower stress, boost lung function and improve mental health. Singing is fun and can build confidence and boost self esteem.
How do Singing Lessons work?
In a lesson we start off having a chat about you and what you want to achieve with your voice.
Next I listen to your voice to hear what is going on and I identify areas to work on. I then give you vocal exercises tailored for your voice to help it build and grow.
Then we work on a song that you would like to sing - your lesson! Your goals!
IVA Technique
Training the voice using the IVA technique helps improve the singers range, stamina, resonance, breath control, vocal strength and quality without causing damage or fatigue.
This technique enables the singer to find a balance between air flow and intrinsic muscular resistance all within a resting laryngeal position.
Singing Lesson Prices
Lessons are one to one and available both in person at my home address and online via zoom.
60 minute lesson - £30.00
30 minute lesson - £17.00
Singing Lesson Times
Wednesdays - 4pm - 7pm
Thursdays - 1pm - 6pm

About Me
I had music lessons as a child (played piano and sang in the school choir). I always loved singing but was scared about taking it further!!
In 2017 I joined my local adult choir (Cheshire Pop Choirs) and 2 years later took the plunge and started taking singing lessons. I was completely blown away by what my voice was capable of by following the IVA vocal technique.
I have since performed in care homes and local events. After 2 years of lessons (and encouraged by my voice teacher) I took the leap and changed careers to follow my passion and become a singing teacher (currently studying with the IVA) and here we are!!
I live in Fearnhead, Warrington. I studied linguistics at university just over 20 years ago! I have also gained a diploma in health and social care and currently work part time with a local community charity. I also teach singing and piano in local schools.
I play in my local samba band (the biggest drum!!) And when I do get any spare time I enjoy getting out and going for a run!!
